The coastal fog, which covers the Napa valley floor many mornings during the growing season, seldom reaches the top of Spring Mountain thus giving our vineyards several hours of additional sunlight each day. The elevation keeps our temperatures an average of 8-10 degrees cooler all year which further results in later bud break and harvest than vineyards located at lower elevations.

Discover a distinctly authentic experience through a private tour and tasting with Fantesca. Upon arrival guests are greeted by their personal estate host to explore unsurpassed views of Spring Mountain leading to distinctly authentic spaces offering a superior wine experience.

My parents, Barbara and Jim, always had an interest in wine, both in its making and its consumption. Their dream was realized in 1983 when a friend of theirs, Dan Duckhorn, called and told them about the property now known as Paloma Vineyard. When you operate a vineyard and winery, you never retire!

Pride Mountain Vineyards is a 235-acre estate with a wooden-beamed, modest-sized winery that blends smoothly into its mountainous surroundings and California heritage. The tasting room offers guests the opportunity to sample the latest vintages.

Ritchie Creek Vineyard is located at the top of Spring Mountain in the Napa Valley appellation’s premium Cabernet Sauvignon growing district. We produce just 800 cases of handcrafted estate wines from our small mountain vineyard which was planted in 1967.

Our Estate Vineyards are the heart and driving force of everything we do, and are meticulously managed by Fred Schweiger and his team. As an Estate Winery, we provide a wine that is grown, produced, and bottled all on site under our own watchful eye.

In 1996, the Sherwins purchased 30 acres at the top of Spring Mountain and began their Wine Country adventure. Since then, the Sherwins have been hosting wine lovers at their beautiful tasting room overlooking the Estate’s vineyards and lake and enjoying the peaceful beauty of life on Spring Mountain.

All wines made entirely from the winery’s dry-farmed estate vineyards surrounding the winery on top of Spring Mountain in the Napa Valley. There are numerous historical sights on the ranch, as well as the huge array of natural beauty and wildlife.
