Completed in 2008, our Winery allows us to function as a true Domaine giving us complete control over every aspect of the wine making process. Built deep into the hillside on our winery cave maintains a small footprint, while taking advantage of the natural contours of the land.

The seeds of Bravante Vineyards were planted in 1993 with the marriage of Nancy Nies and George Bravante at Meadowood Resort. Their shared interest in agriculture led them to purchase a plot of land on the esteemed Howell Mountain upon which they built a home that would overlook their first vineyard.

In 2012, Ladera hired winemaker Jade Barrett to guide its winemaking program. An internationally trained winemaker, and a veteran of Napa Valley’s Lewis Cellars and Jericho Cellars, Jade’s thoughtful, vineyard-driven approach has only reinforced the remarkable quality of Ladera’s wines.

We ensure that the entire winemaking process is quality driven – from ground, to grape, to glass – and only release wines that we feel express the very best qualities of ultra-premium Napa Valley fruit and represent our family’s ongoing dedication to the superiority associated with the wines of this region.
